A/C in Raptor 412 TS

Should 2, 15K AC units be able to cool the 412TS to comfortable levels? With outside temps of 81*, and thermostats set on 66* it only cooled to 78*... both units ran NON-STOP for 7 days... The garage sleeping is completely un-usable due to the heat...

What is the problem? This isn't our first toy-hauler or residential style 5th wheel... But it is the WORST for cooling we have ever had...

There's another recent AC thread on here. Start by determining if your units are flowing enough air out the vents and you need to measure the difference between inlet temperature and outlet temperature, which should be 20-30 degrees... This will let you know if your units are "working" right.

Ducted units are less efficient as the duct work travels through less insulated space. You can start getting selective about what you cool, IE - shut down the bedroom if not in use and see how that does. If you have a unit in the living area, make sure the direct venting is open all the way.

81 outside and getting a 2 degree interior drop doesn't sound right to me.

My Raptor came with 2 ACs, main and bedroom. Both would cool those areas but not the garage. Added third AC for the garage. Wonderful. The garage isn't insulated at all.

Was the raptor pre-wired in the garage for an AC unit?

What was involved in putting a third AC in the garage?
