justlkn, Howdy;
[QUOTE=justlkn;130622]I finally broke down and made a new satellite stand that is a lot lighter and easier to handle. My old one I made out of a board and some VERY heavy rocks to hold it down. I was tired of moving and carrying all this weight. I decided it was time to make a new one so I went a bought some PVC pipe and made this. All is left to do is paint it a flat grey to match the dish. I was interrupted by a very large thunderstorm. I tried it and it works like a champ and seems very stable. I also modified the LNB arm bracket so I could fold it down when storing. All in all it turned out better than I expected.
Wouldn't happen to have a close-up oh the LNB arm mod would ya???
Huh-huh, pretty please ...
Have you thought about turning the frame upside down and giving yourself
somewhat more friction coefficient?
