Auto igniter for stove

Has anybody done or know how easy it would be to add the electric igniter to my stove/oven. Right now I have to light with aim n flame. It is the Atwood/Wedgwood vision.

Thanks

This is one thing that irks me about RV stoves. I know some of the high price point RV's have auto ignite now and if nothing else they could give us a piezo igniter that cost a few cents. I mean gee whiz every time you light a match your smoke detector goes off.

Mine came with the piezoelectric igniter and I never use it. May be I feel more like I'm camping when I start it with a lighter...

I put in an electric ignitor for the stove and oven. Works great. The oven electrode took some trial and error before I got the placement right on the pilot.
Still have to bend over to check when the pilot is lit, but the DW likes it. And I love not hearing the CLICK, CLICK, CLICK of the piezo for the stovetop burners.

Hey Eds451, I pop riveted a stainless steel mirror to the inside of the oven door and can see pilot lite standing up.---Lou---

Great idea Lou...a stainless mirror. I have a week before heading out, so there is time to get one mounted. Thanks.
