Can't change a simple light bulb

Have a 2012 Montana 3750FL. In the living room, the cabinet ledge above the TV has round recessed lights on each side. I have pulled, pushed and twisted but cannot get cover off to change the blown bulb in one of them. Does anyone know how to remove it?

How many RVers does it take to change a light bulb?????

I don't know but I'm sure one of our Monty owners have dealt with this before. I seem to remember a post about it but could not find with "Search".

I watched a service tech remove one. I am pretty sure you need to turn it counter clocks wise a 1/4 turn and then it will pull down. I know you said it won't turn, but he was not able to turn at first either. Maybe try pushing up with some pressure while trying to turn the base. Good Luck

If they are the same as in the new Laredo, a small pocket screwdriver will get it with no problem. Just get between the glass and metal and twist.

Actually, more like an eighth turn counter-clockwise. (Lefty loosey, righty tighty). I had several that I could not get the frosted glass disk to turn. One I eventually pulled out far enough to push the spring loose, but putting that back in the bracket was a real pain. Then I got smart! Got a ziplock bag of crushed ice and held it against the glass for five minutes (arm went to sleep), and the glass contracted enough to make it easier (but still tight) to remove.

Thanks ron for correcting my mistake. All I can remember is it has to turn before it will come out
