Solar sys/maintain batteries

Returned from AZ after purchasing new roof-top solar panels. In the past, prior to solar panels, I attached a ‘batter minder’ to my battery bank to keep them fresh. Should I cover or remove the panels when the RV is stored outside and re-attach my ‘battery minder’ OR, keep the panels in place and rely on the solar system to maintain my batteries?

Welcome to the forum

Leave it hooked up to the solar panels. Your controller will take care of how much charge the batteries receive. Just check the water level in the batteries often. No need for the maintainer
