Table is unstable

I have a new 20121 Bullet 29rls but i believe this table is used in many TT. The table rides up and down on rails mounted on the wall to convert from table to bed. When in the table lock position, the rails and rollers do not hold it firmly. Any slight touch send all items flying. A very poor design. Does anyone have a fix or mod? I like not to replace a new table.

When the table is in the upper position, there should be a rod underneath that you rotate into a slot and keeps the table locked. Sounds like it either isn’t there or out of adjustment.

Rod?

I don't see a rod or a place it is supposed to be.

Hard to see with those pics, is there a strut? Or is there an arm that’s supposed to lock?
