Upgraded to window blinds

We much prefer the look and functionality of 2 inch blinds over the pleated shades that come in many campers. We like to be able to partially open without completely raising shades. I order them from selectblinds.com in Houston. They come in many colors and are custom made to your length and width. They will put the adjusting rod on either side. Be sure they will fit under your cornices.

Those blinds look great. Got me thinking and I looked at Home Depot and they sell faux wooden blinds in 1/2" width increments. These are 2" slats. Are your blinds 2" ? The length isn't important as that is adjustable by removing slats; I used these blinds in my shop office (office blinds are probably 2 1/2" or 3"). How do the prices on the HomeDepot blinds compare? I currently have metal venetian blinds and the large window at the rear of the camper has aluminum blinds and they are looking lousy and a couple have been broken off.

Yes these are 2 inch faux wood, in custom size. The i/2 inch increment would work as they are mounted outside the window. No at as critical as inside mount. It's nice to not have to remove slats from the bottom. I've not priced Home Depot.

Whoever thought to put those 1" aluminum venetian blinds in a camper should be given a Darwin award. They just bend at the slightest touch. I think cheap entered into the decision.
