Awning

On my awning the cord is popping out about six inches and rolls up bad.
Has anyone experience this. There is nothing holding the cord in the rail. it appears that it is too tight on that side

If you mean the “gimp”, you can either try to push it back in, or cut it off and put the piece back in on the other end.
