And there was much rejoicing!
I decided to pull the hubs. After getting the first one off I found the brake wires chaffed with the conductor showing. I did notice the left side had more wire outside the hub than the right. I taped up the wires, popped the strain relief and moved some of the wire outside the hub. I only tested one but no overload! Will road test later.
I should have started with the worst case scenario first.
