New 3711FL with RAM3500 DRW Hitch recommendations please

Just picked up a 2015 STOCK RAM 3500 DRW 4x4 with the Aisan tranny and stock 17" wheels.

Also just picked up a new 2017 3711FL but it is stuck at the dealer till I get my hitch. I am a newbie and am concerned about getting too short or too tall of a hitch (adjustment included) and will be nose high or rubbing my bed rails.

The 2 hitches I am considering for overkill purposes are the:
B&W Companion: The B&W appears to have a heigh adjustment of 17" to 19".

Also considering the Curt Q25 that has a 14" to 18" adjustment.

I am hoping to buy this hitch tomorrow to get it delivered ASAP. Any idea with this particular setup if either will get me level with a 3711FL by chance?

Don't know if one is better than the other. You know of course there is adjustment on your pin box.

LOL. No, I did not. To be honest...I did not even know what a pin box was till I looked it up after your post. So then the pin box is adjustable and the height of the hitch in the bed is adjustable to obtain a good flat ride eh?

Yes you should be good. That is unless you are putting a lift on the TV.

The design of the new 5th wheels takes into consideration the box height of an appropriate TV. Your combination should not be an issue with the right adjustments.

Have the tools with you to adjust the hitch when you pick up the unit.

Both are nice hitches. I considered the Q20, but went with the Reese Select Plus 20k. I like the single jaw design of the Reese Select Plus vs the dual jaw of many of the others.

Don't know if your new Ram 3500 has the 5th wheel tow package or not. If it does consider the B & W hitch that go in the pucks. I have had one for 2 yrs. now and is the next best thing since sliced bread. It takes me all of 15 min. to take it in or out. Great product.

Thank you all for your input and advice. Much appreciated. I think I'm going to try the Curt Q25 out and will report back on the site with all of my specs. I like the lower 14" adjustment level up to 18" (1" short of the top end of the B&W). It does have the factory puck quick locks for the 3500 towing prep package as well so that sounds slick. E-Trailer will price match plus 110% of the difference on Amazon so I'll give them a shot. Thanks again and happy trails.

Not bad, that's only about 10 mins more than it takes me.
