I put the carpet in the tray yesterday then loaded it up with the stuff that I'm going to carry in the tray. As I stated before, it doesn't slide as well as a ball bearing slide arm type, but then again, it's not something that gets pulled out and back in multiple times a day. It looks good, is certainly functional, and in the end, I'm glad I did it. On to the next project.....converting the top queen bed in the garage to a storage place for motorcycle tire/wheels for the track bike. I seem to be working on multiple projects at once, mostly because some are waiting for parts to come in, some require good weather to be able to work on it. I've got a TPMS system to install, and I'm going to add a sliding tarp to the back of the new carport. The reason for the "sliding" part is so that it can be slid out of the way when I need to access the rear ramp door of the T.H. I'm doing this instead of enclosing the end of the carport on the back end.
