OP: shower pans can be replaced, and if your unit is still under warranty I would let the dealer do it. It cracked for a reason, probably lack of support and replacing the pan after adding support isn't a difficult job, just time consuming.
On edit: as I was responding, you added more links. The first one is the one I'm referring to.
