Dometic Refreg 120 v heater coil

Have replaced the 120 volt heater coil twice in the last several weeks. Does anybody have an answer? Unit is a DM2652LBX , 5 years old. Heater coil measured about 41 ohns new and now open for second time. Have there been any service bulletins or easy fixes for the problem.. No problem with LP cooling. Input voltage is approx 120vac , well within the 10 percent min/max.

Have not seen any official recalls. However, I've seen numerous posts in other forums where non-OEM elements don't last as long.
