2003 Keystone Hornet 30b Slideout Problem

The day after I had slid the camper in, it didnt slideout. I used the manual override and it slides IN but not OUT, when I try OUT it makes no noise, any ideas?

Did you disconnect the battery before closing manually?? If not, the motor may be damaged. Have you checked fuses???

It doesnt need to be closed manually, in fact we havent done that, we have tried to open it up manually. Where do we check fuses and what should we be looking for? thanks

When opening or closing manually the battery or the motor wires must be disconnected or motor will be damaged. The circuit breaker/fuse panel is inside the trailer. It is usually at the base of a cabinet and has a brown cover. You should have your tow vehicle (TV) with engine running attached or shore power and a fully charged battery when operating slides. the rubber piece on the outside was folded a bit. could that be causing a problem?

The guy at the camper place said there are brushes in the engine that wer replaced last time, and that this is likely the same problem
