Fridge and Invertor fuzion 403

OK we just got home and forgot to ask how the residential fridge works when you are not plugged in. There is and invertor in the basement storage area. There is a button on the side marked on/remote. do we need to push this button every time we set out to run the fridge while driving down the road or not on shore power, and then turn it off before we hook up shore power? Is there a switch upstairs that we haven't found?

The short answer is yes. Press the button and the inverter will run. When plugged in it will display a green led, meaning 120v passthru. When you disconnect shore power, the Led turns yellow, indicating the inverter is running on battery and supplying power to the fridge. As you have discovered, you can also press the button and power the inverter off when hooked to shore power to get rid of the fan noise

Another question Inverter

So we don't have to turn it on and off when we go from Shore power to battery then? It is automatic? that makes things easier!
Thank you for your help.

No. You do not have to turn it off, but I do, so it is not running all the time.
