Where to put generator?

Hello gang!... New to the forum but not to being a Cougar owner. We have a
2009 318SAB being towed by a 2006 Ford F350 CC LB Dually. We absolutely
love it. We have used this primarily in state parks and private camp grounds
wet camping.

We find ourselves headed to Oshkosh and dry camping for the first time the last
week of July and just got a Kipor IG6000Thi generator. While only 24" wide it
does sit above the bed rails(30.5" tall). Question where is the best place transport this?
I have been looking at putting it in the bed next to the cab in the center. My
question is will the nose of the 5th wheel hit it when making a corner? It would
be about 12" on each side of the center line. Will this give a good enough
turning radius? This thing is a beast and I really only want to have to put it
up in the truck one time, but it does provide the power. I have run the A/C,
TV, refer and Microwave without popping the breaker and it is quiet.

I guess I would put it there and then make some practice turns in a parking lot to check clearance. You didn't list the weight, but I bet it's heavy and the only place to carry it is in the bed, unless you want to put it on a small trailer behind your rig (not)

We are planning on doing just that mhs4771, testing that is. I have no desire
to pull a trailer behind the 5er. From the looks of things it should be okay. But
this thing weighs 233lbs dry. Fortunately it has wheels.
