Had our 4th trip out with the new 5er last weekend. It rained half the time, but was still fun! But, when we got home (of course, blue sky at home!) I put the slide out to unload everything we need to and my daughter noticed the linoleum was torn where the one wall of the slide runs in and out.
I discovered there is a metal piece that runs up the wall behind the decorative trim portion that covers the slide wall end when open and it's too long on that end, which gouged the floor. And has also taken chunks of plastic out of the black runner that the slide glides over. I know it's going to go in under warranty and get fixed, but has anyone been through this? Do they just cut out a piece of the linoleum and try to patch it and hope the patch holds up and looks good? Or do they replace the whole linoleum flooring? And when everything is done, I'm going to be checking that the metal is the right length. I was so bummed to see that since I just love this trailer!
