Grey water

Was wondering how to tell if you have one are two grey tanks. The PDI tech said I have one, but the control panel shows two, and everyone in the campground says it should have two. It's a 2014 Keystone Alpine. Thanks

I'd say yes you have two in the Alpine. You should have two tank valves also to drain them. Enjoy.

Bluewater I have two pull valves one says grey, and the other says black. That's why I thought I may only have one.

Sometimes the second one is somewhat hidden. Look good around and behind the wheels on both sides. Just to be sure. The other way to check is run water in all areas and see if both sensors on the control panel show that they have water in them.

Happy Days - all 2014 Alpine's show an 82 gal Gray Water Capacity; another good indicator of "2" Gray tanks.
As already said, look around/near the axle (street/driver side) for a 2nd "handle"... it may be difficult to see if
you have a slide-out above. I'm *guessing* that your 2nd tank (& handle) are to the bath/shower (& washer)
based simply on the fact that the bath is that side & closer to the rear of the RV.

One way to test to see if you have 2 gray tanks is to close the gray valve and pour some water down the kitchen sink. Open the valve and see if it drains out. If it does, then that would be the drain valve for the kitchen gray water.

Close the valve and pour some water down the bedroom sink and/or shower. Open that same valve. If that water comes out then you have one tank with one drain valve. If water does not come out, then there must be another valve somewhere underneath which would be the gray water drain valve for the shower and bedroom sink.

It's unlikely that you have just one gray tank.

The number of tanks indicated on the control panel is not always an accurate assessment of the number of tanks that are actually there. A "generic" panel is used for a variety of different models - all of which may have a slightly different set up.

Again, as suggested above, take a very careful look underneath. My bet is that there is another pull valve there somewhere.

Thanks guys I crawled under the kitchen slide and found a handle. I pulled it, and heard water run out. So the tech was wrong. Wonder why they wouldn't put that pull Handel with the other two by the water hook ups?

The tanks are most likely positioned as close as possible to the source. The shower/bathroom sink is probably not near the kitchen sink so their tanks and pull valves aren't close either - especially on models that do not have a central water works station.

I have 2014 Alpine 3600RS and both grey tank pulls are in the water works station
