BBQ use under Canopy

I am the proud new owner of a 210RUD, but have never used a BBQ under a canopy. Is this safe to do despite all the signs not to run the BBQ while tha canopy is open?

I run my little Weber Q120 under the awning all the time. That's a *long* way up for heat to be an issue. The only issue there might be is smoke getting into the trailer, so I keep the windows near it closed.

I`ve always done the same thing and never had an issue with the rising heat affecting the canopy. Sometimes it`s raining out when I want to grill and I have no choice.

Our RV-Q hookup is under the awning. We always grill with the awning out. Haven't had any problems.

Same here.. Don't put the gas outlet where you don't want it to be used. I'm more concerned about the grilles that attach to the side of the trailer. That would be a no-no for me.

We use the factory outdoor kitchen "grille" under the awning all the time. Never an issue.

We use are Weber Q, Dutch Ovens all the time under the awning, the smoke from the Q does somewhat grease up the underside of the awning, today I took soap and Awsome cleaner to it and all looks new again...
