Thanks, looking forward to getting to Savannah. I think my wife says Savannah 40 times a day. I wanted to come up for a track day event at Robeling Road but TH shopping got in the way.

Any suggestions for places to camp in Savannah would be most welcomed.

Skidaway Island, Fort McAllister and Tybee Island.
I never been in one of them (because it will be like camping in my backyard)...but I heard that they are nice,
Hope it helps!
Bouncey!

I loved Skidaway State Park.

The park is big, sites are large

and a short drive to town .........

That is our favorite.

They have a learning center where you can watch the birds out back,

very nice!

Within about 30 miles from Savannah, Hilton Head Harbor,

http://hiltonheadharbor.com/

We spent a week there last May and really enjoyed it.

My DW and I stayed on TYBEE Island in 2011 at Rivers End Camp Ground. It was overpriced and I was not very impressed with the camp ground. I think a KOA would have been better. We camped there for five night’s tax and full-hookup fees was $300.00, this was in a non-prime time of the year. Check out the reviews on this and other camp grounds on RV park reviews. Com.
