50 amp to 20 amp

on my last TT I had 30 amp that I plugged into a 20 amp outlet with the adapter to keep the fridge cold and batteries charged,I just a fifth wheel with 50 amp can i do the same thing plugging it into the 20 amp outlet with the adaptor?

Yes, but you will need a new adapter for the 50 to 20. That is what I use at home and it works great. Try amazon for them. Good luck.

Just a reminder, if you do keep your RV plugged in, don't forget
to do routine checks on the battery(s), to ensure they don't get
low on electrolyte...

can I just disconnect the positive cable on the battery while it's stored over the winter plugged into 110?

It doesn't hurt to disconnect/ remove the battery(s) and leave the unit plugged into shore power. Be sure to do something though to keep your battery's charged and happy😊!
