Not specific to any rig, things that can literally save you thousands of dollars in repairs are:
  1. An Electtrical Management System (EMS) - this is NOT just a cheap surge protector. The EMS will protect your rig from low voltage, surges, mis-wired pedestals, etc. and disconnect you automatically. Can ether be permanently installed in your rig or portable and plugged into the pedestal.
  2. A Tire Pressure Monitor System (TPMS) - full time monitoring of tire pressure and temperatures will give you advance warnings of tire failures.
  3. A pressure relief valve to protect your rig from high shore water pressures - this is an actual valve and gauge, not just the cheap flow restrictors sold by Camco and others as a pressure relief device - the cheap ones only work during flowing conditions - static pressures are not controlled by these cheap flow devices.

DO use it!
DONT let it sit.

The best way to catch any issues during warranty period is to use it. Try everything, Camp close to home if possible so you can go back and get something you forgot. Take a pad and pencil/pen and write down any issues as you encounter them. That way when/if you take it in for service you won’t have to “remember” them.

^^^^^THIS is something every new RV buyer should know and do. If you don't get that unit out and use it a lot right off the bat things just go south in a hurry if you have issues. Your roof warranty is gone in 90 days - you need to not only put it through some "weather", real or manmade, and inspect the roof and seals. New trailers aren't without faults. Roof sealing faults can ruin an RV experience.

FIND those things that are wrong by using everything in the RV...everything. Don't take it back when you find one thing, try to find them all because...when you take it in, and it takes 2 months to fix "that" problem, wait a couple of months and take it out then find another problem and take it back in....12 months is gone in a heartbeat and you are on your own....and they count on you doing that. Even with the repairs - they will try to make a temp repair to get past that 12 month window....DO NOT let them do that. Just a word of experience there....
