Frayed pullout cable on my 2016 Cougar 30rli

Has anyone had a problem with fraying pullout cables? While on my walk around, I found the top cable of my kitchen pullout fraying. Unfortunately, it's not covered in the warranty and not looking forward to the bill. Access to all the mechanisms are within hands reach so it shouldn't be too costly.
Speaking of costly, does anyone have an idea of the expense for cable replacement?

It will cost about $20 for the cable along with an hour or two of your time. Instead of the $4 crimp sleeves and a $40 tool, you can use some $3 cable clamps from Home Depot/Lpwe's. I carry two complete sets of cables and clamps which are actually left overs from our previous '06 SOB 5er with an Accu-Slide bedroom
