2011 Passport 3220BH

We should be getting our new Passport in about 2 weeks. Just wondering if anybody can tell me some pro's and con's to this TT. Also...if anyone has towed this with a 1500 series. We have a 2006 F-150 Super Crew 5.4L 3.55axle with a tow rating of 8200#. It was a hard decision but we were all lined up to buy the Laredo 303TG but was just to close to the max towing. This is our first TT so any tips etc would be helpful. We will be using a equalizer hitch also.

There are several Passport members here on the forum and who have posted numerous comments about it. Try doing a Search on this forum (type in Passport). Also you can check back into the Towing and Tow Vehicle section regarding towing with a 1/2T F150. Lately, there has been a lively discussion regarding towing with a 1/2T vs 3/4T so you should find some interesting posts. Again, you can do a search on the Forum here --- lots of information about towing and TV's.

Don't know if you found an answer, lab530, but being new to the forum I just saw this post and wanted to respond. We purchased a new 3220BH in march and have had a chance to take it out twice with a similar F150 TV with 5.4 and 3.55. I have had no problems and felt no undue strain on the engine while towing. Of course, up hills causes the gas needle to drop but feel very comfortable with the towing. I have a two point stablizer hitch that works great also. Hope this helps.
