Camco fridge fan

Just bought a battery powered fridge fan. (Saw it listed on a top 20 items to have site). Does it matter where it should go in the fridge and should you leave it on the whole camping trip or just until it gets cold? Thanks

I put mine in the condensation tray, pointing up. As long as it can circulate the air in the fridge your good. The door shelfs are not a good idea. Leave the battery's in and running as long as the fridge is operating.
