Curt Q20 Sliding Hitch and X5 adapter.

I am looking at switching to a sliding hitch and am curious if anyone on here has a Curt Q20 sliding hitch. Also if anyone is using the X5 Adapter. Wanting to know how you like them.

I have the Curt adapter in a B&W gooseneck hole. No Issues. Just be sure you get the correct adapter shank...round or square. My Curt Q20 hitch is not a slider, but no issues with it either.

I have the Q20 on a slider in my Ram. I like it now that I'm used to it. I had trouble hooking up the first few times but finally figured it out. I was not always even with the hitch and it would sometimes tilt funny and not latch. I haven't ever used the slider feature so I can really speak on that. Overall I'm pleased with mine.

I have both the Q20 and the x5. Now let me preface this by saying that I am very new to Fifth Wheels, as in been on one trip new. I initially had a lot of trouble getting the x5 to lock into the Curt flip over ball goose neck hitch, but was finally able to get it to lock with a lot of effort. The Q20 has worked well thus far, although it seems a bit noisy to me. (I have zero experience with any others to compare the noise level to though). I too have not used the slide feature as of yet. My real fear is ever trying to take the setup out. I have a feeling x5 will be mean to remove. Oh yeah, if you have a bed line, forget using the x5, that was the first thing their tech line guy asked me about.
