Six inch gap

2019 Cougar 32RLI. Came with a king bed that left no room to maneuver around the sides, so replaced it with a nice RV Queen with a topper. Trimmed the lift up for the under the bed storage. What can I get for the approximately 6 inch gap on each side of the bed that’s in the slide? Tried googling but don’t see a catalog item for it. Surly I can’t be the only one with this issue! Thanks!

If the king was an option, and you removed it I’d bet there are cabinets that fit those gaps in the standard queen configuration. If that’s the case then your dealer may be able to get a set. Factory most likely won’t sell direct to you.

We had a king and replaced it with a queen also. I removed the cheap little tables that came from the factory with a two drawer unit on each side. It fits perfect and who can't use more drawer?

I'm not familiar with your rig but maybe you could do the same.

Google your year and model and look thru pictures trying to find your model with the queen mattress and see what the factory did with the extra space??

Good luck finding an answer!

I believe the 32RLI was only built with the king bed. It was not an option on any floorplan I can find. So, Keystone probably did not build an alternate queen bed or any night stands for that model. There may be other floorplans that do have cabinets that would match, however from brand to brand furniture finish/color changes and from year to year, even the furniture style can change.

Trekwood can usually get any Keystone cabinet, but the cost may not be affordable. I'd look at building cabinets or if you don't have the skills, find a cabinet maker in your area, show him the space and ask what he can do.

Called a local Keystone dealer and they had a guy that would customize RV’s for their customers. He has a relationship with the keystone factory and will look into what he can do. (Yay) Unfortunately keystone is closed due to lockdown. (sigh) Will update when I can.
