Roof leak

We have 2016 HIgh Country. I have water in the back right return vent. It’s about 2’ from the back in line with the ladder and 2’ in from the left side. The power line to the rear AC unit lead to the unit within 6” but I can’t feel any moisture on the wires. I’ve check the roof and no tears. I’ve sealed all checks and cracks everywhere up there. Still getting water when it rains. Could it be from under the AC unit?

good news I hope. I removed the Dometic AC unit, where I suspected this leakage. There are 4 bolts that secure the AC to the RV. A foam pad keeps water out of the vents. However, my bolts may not have been tightened enough as there was dirt caked in what should have been a sealed surface. I've cleaned this with degreaser and and water and have since bolted it back down enough to see the seal compress. Hopefully problem solved.

I would bet your good to go. I have seen clear silicone used along with the gasket on units that are screwed on from the top. If it happens again, that foam seal is cheap enough, you might consider replacing and “gluing” it in place.
