Newbie Question

We just bought a Springdale RK SSR This is my first Super slide .We live in northern Illinois How cold is too cold to operate the slide? It is about 29 out right now. I'd like to use the camper as a guest house for the Holidays (dry of course) any advise ?

Here in New Jersey my slide is out year-round except when we are expecting snow. Have never had a problem.(So far) Cheers, Hank

Does it hurt the seals when you slide it in and out in the cold

Sliding it in and out in the cold will not hurt it. You may notice that the flexible slide seals aren't quite as "flexible" because of the cold and you may notice some slight sounds of creaking and groaning - only because of the cold temps - not because of any malfunction. In this respect, they behave much like we do in the cold.
