Stolen from a Fire Department!

Each year we have a Christmas display at the FD. Our way of giving back to our community. We buy the decorations ourselves, our some community members donate.
Someone stole 3 of our inflatables last night.
It takes a sorry soul to steal from a Volunteer FD!

Sorry to hear i have a park with a railroad and lots of stuff. We have cameras everywhere and the alarm went off on the way home Monday that somebody wasn't supposed to be there. Caught the guy and he was just looking. 8' fence climbed over to look at our display the police thought it was kinda funny too. Asked me to have some Christmas spirit I told him I wanted him to have a warm place to sleep and a meal. $500 fine

Next town to us, had a report on the news this AM, Some one had gone into somebody's yard and cut up around 10 -15 blow ups. Cut large holes into them so they would deflat..I caught the tail end of the broadcast..

The cameras record for so long now it's crazy. Mine will go nearly 2 weeks and can send a e mail or call if there's something moving where it's not supposed to be.

I have signs that say "If your here you're on camera" I have fake and real cameras so they never know what one is watching.

I get bad cameras from EBay that are cheaper than the fake ones. Bolt them up and run some scrap wire into a hole

which ones did you get Mike? (the cameras).

here in Tucson the news reports are going nuts with theft of decorations but mostly the extension cords that are outside. Go figure. This is because of the meth habit in areas I am told.

I hate drugs!

It is terrible in this part of the country right now. They are stealing from the mines even. They put up street lights and the wires get stolen shortly there after. The list goes on and on.

Can we go back to chopping off hands? (I am kidding, I think). hmmmm.

We bought the logitec cameras for inside and outside the house. They are reasonably priced and really work well. We got them through best buy.

We have been lucky, folks from all over have sent checks, cash and decorations. Way more than was taken.
The media picked it up and RAN with the story.
There are still good folks around, must be RVers!

This really warms my heart. I believe that there are more good, than bad, people in this world.
