Maxxfan question

My Dad is gonna let me have a Maxxfan (Deluxe) that was given to him not long ago. The only bad thing, is it didn't have the remote wall switch with it, the person that gave it to him is long since gone, and he had the switch, just forgot to give it to him.

Question is - is there manual controls that are useable on the fan itself, that I'll be able to use, or am I gonna have to breakout the reverse engineering model to modify it to work...or will I HAVE to order a new wall control for it??

Thanks in advance!

Maxxair uses a hand-held remote and they have an excellent customer service department. Give them a call .... you should be able to buy one from them. (Customer Service Tel: 316-832-4357; Customer Service: [email protected]) My Deluxe model has manual controls but in the 5r I would need a ladder to reach them. Hope this helps, Hank

I own three maxx air fans. From what I can see from the website each model has ceiling controls. So while you do not have a wall switch or remote you should be able to operate. If its in a high ceiling location, might be an inconvenience. I bought a switch to add to my bathroom max air fan so parts are available.

Very happy with mine, good luck with the install.
