Who has a 4th gen ram 1500.

Who has a 4th gen ram 1500 2009-2017 and what kind of camper are you pulling. lets talk about how you pull and what you pull and distance traveled..

We have a 2014 ram 1500 express 8spd 3:21 gears. our first camper was a aero cub c19.

New camper is 2020 Bullet 261rbs. We have only pulled it back from the dealer about 90 miles slight head wind on 2 lane hwy with passing semi trucks.. got about 11.5mpg cant wait to see how it pulls in the summer with better gas.

2018 1500 8sp with 3.21 as well. 2013 passport 2300bh. I haven't towed it much yet and on my trip home from dealer also about 90 miles there were 30mph sustained wind with worse gusts. No fun and <7mpg that night. I expect that under normal circumstances I'll be close to what you saw.

I have a 2013 Ram 5.7l with 3.92s (8-speed). I tow a 2015 2810bh. I've had
a few trips around 2500 miles (Texas to Colorado). Mileage depends on speed. I would estimate 8.5 MPG unless you drive at 55.

Pulled my jayco 324bhds from pittsburgh to jacksonville with my inlaws 11 ram tradesman. 5.5mpg through appalachia, but on the trip back i picked up an old f350 dually. The ram did well for what it is and the rated capacity for the ram is about the same as the old 350 (cough, bullsh*t, cough) but that old dually will eat the rams lunch with a load. The ram only made that one trip for us and the dually is now pulling my fuzion 385.

We have a 2015 quad cab 3.21 8 speed 5.7L hemi. We have a 2018 keystone 261rbswe. We pulled it from Boise Idaho to Panama City Florida, and then on to the Key west and back to panama. We did upgrade the tires to from the Goodyear SRA to the BF Goodrich KO2's , and added inside the coil airbags. When pulling just block out 7thand 8th gears, and be sure to use tow/haul.
