Bed tilt inop

Hi all, I'm new to this because I just got a 2015 Outback 316RL trailer. Everything is fine except the bed tilt does not work at all. Any ideas out there on what would be a good approach to test and repair this? Thanks in advance for any help. Bill

Welcome to the forum

When you say “bed tilt” do you mean the struts that hold the mattress up?

NO. It is the head end of the bed frame that tilts up for TV watching.

If you can remove the switch, you can test for 12VDC coming in/going out of the switch. If there isn’t power at the switch then I would be looking at the fuses. If you do have power then you need to find the motor and see f its getting power.
