The Missing Switch

I had an interesting issue to solve. When I got my unit there was an LED light that didn't work. It was under the top cabinet as you come in the door. A bar type counter top but centrally located in the RV. I checked the light for voltage and had 12 VDC on it. Started looking for where to turn it off and couldn't find any place to. I ordered some replacement lights and got a couple of replacement switches. The odd thing about this light was it was a 4" light and all the rest of mine are 6". I got the lights and switch , connected a new one and it was on. There was no place to turn it off. I mounted a switch under the cabinet and wired it. Only thing I can think of is that it was intended as a night light. Does anyone else have a similar light?

Does the light have a button in the middle of it? Mine does, and you turn it on and off by pressing the center of the light. If you don't and you have no switch, why not simply replace the light with one with a button on/off switch?

As mentioned, most of those "under cabinet" lights are controlled by a small button in the middle of the light. There is no switch.
We have several like that in our 2022 24RDS.

A picture of your light would get a better answer.

Same here, all my under-counter lights and under the bedside upper cabinets have the flush center button to turn on and off.

The hidden button may very well be the answer. Doesn't matter now. It's been replaced with a 6", 6K and a switch right beside it. That's the only under counter light I have.
