Brian, The wires are right behind where the BCM would be, so that sounds plausible. Since mine was one of the early builds after they ceased InCommand, I guess old habits die hard.

The water pump is screwed to the floor. It has little rubber grommets at each of the 4 screw locations. I added a piece of 1/2 horse stall mat under it that I had left over from building a set of blocks for my leveling jack legs. It did make it a bit quieter, but the test will be this weekend when we are boondocking.

good idea on the pump and i know we all joke about the haphazard installation of the wiring but i figure they probably found out thru trial and error that they use much more wire if they would run it in a neat and workmanlike manner and they would have more problems with wire failures if the wires were run tight and rigid…they save by running directly across the basement at whatever angle gets the job done….also would have human error with driving staples too far if they secured it properly and straps for antivibration would cost more….i’m sure the whole rv flexes a bit going down the road from side to side and up and down…if the wires were stapled or fastened too tightly it could wear a hole in the wires…having them just lay on the ground allows them to absorb the movements in a sort of controlled chaos kinda way…not defending it just explaining why they may do it that way
