Okay, I’ll admit it. We have also stayed at civilian RV Parks in Texas.

While traveling west on I-20, heading for a few months rest in Yuma, AZ we stopped for a few days in Arlington, TX where I had a 1st cousin. Like me he was from Maine but went to the University of Texas and just stayed there. I called my cousin to ask about RV parking and he said there was a nice village - like - park about a mile from his home and we should call to ask about availability. We called, told them we were both in large 5th wheel rigs and would like to be parked close to one another. We ended-up in back to back corner sites. Very large sites as you can see in the pictures.
Because we both had quad-cab trucks we would alternate unhooking when just stopping for a few days. It was Don’s turn to un-hook and be the chauffeur.
