Rv storage(Miami)

Taking the trailer down south(Florida), and in between campgrounds we are planning on taking a 7/day cruise out of the port of Miami...
Any suggestions on where to leave the trailer during that time.
Thanks.

I don’t have any specific information for you but you may be able to store it at one of the campgrounds you are staying at. A lot of private parks also have RV storage areas. Enjoy your cruise!

Florida is overflowing. If you find a storage spot you are comfortable with, take it, or someone else will. Many people lease year long storage spots and leave there RV in Florida year long. Most housing developments will not allow RV parking on your property. Secure storage lots are at a premium. Paved, stoned and covered spaces are a real premium.

A little un related, there are new building code regulations being implemented to limit the amount of non porous ground coverings like concrete driveways and patios. This is an attempt to limit runoff and promote the absorption of rain water.

Good Luck

In the past we informed the parks of our plans & left it on the site, slides closed, everything disconnected other than electric, they offered a discounted rate for that week & one even offered to drop us off & pick us up after the cruise for a very small fee. Neither of these were in Florida, but were popular cruise ports.
