So, now that we have our 1st RV I have a a bunch of noob questions that I haven't been able to find clear answers to yet. I haven't been thrilled with the manual, it seems pretty generic, but maybe I haven't found the right one yet (pdf from the Keystone site).

What is the best place to post those, I don't see a "beginner" forum?
Thanks,
Joe
If you have questions about function of something, you can post in the 5th wheel section, maintenance in the maintenance section. The forum isn't strict about posting in a "wrong" section. Your manual will be fairly useless as it was written for EVERY 2023 Cougar so if you look up where the toilet is in your camper, it won't say. There are lots of warnings but little info. Most of the info you need will come from the appliance manuals. There will be one for almost all of your appliances and the like. Make sure EVERY appliance works before taking possession and go through the camper with a fine tooth comb. It is a lot easier to get a dealer to fix something before you sign on the dotted line.

Thanks George, I will create a new post here then. I already downloaded the in-command manual and will look for the others.

We did go through everything and ended up waiting an extra week because they had the replace the auto level controller. Guess that's the best service that I will get, they were really motivated to fix it.

The owners manual is almost worthless. As already stated go on-line for each item for the owners manual. My stack of manuals and information sheets is almost 5 in. thick.
