Inverter output to Shore power cord
I have a Gianco 1200w pure sine wave inverter mounted in the storage compartment of my 2018 Outback 266RB. It is powered by a pair of Trojan T-105s 15 inched away through trailer compartment floor. One outlet is run to a relay in the power panel to turn off converter when inverter is active.
So far, we use the anaconda shore cord to 50A female to 15A male dogbone plugged into the other inverter output outlet.
This works perfectly; however when inverter is in use, we cannot close the compartment door.
I am considering running the inverter output through the compartment floor to a 50A receptacle mounted on the side of the coach through the thin skirt below and aft of the fresh water panel.
It will of course have to be wired correctly, and we are well aware of the limitations of what will and will not run simultaneously inside the coach.
I want to use 50A receptacle to avoid use of additional dog bone adapters.
I've seen a 30A receptacle mounted this way, but never a 50A.
To be clear, the anaconda would plug in the twist lock at the back and into the 50A "shore" receptacle on the side.
This allows a clean installation and ability to lock the compartment.
Looking for comments and suggestions, other ideas, etc.
