First Timer

Hello everyone! Just purchased my 2021 Raptor 351 today! I will be living in it full time up in PA. This is my first time with a RV and first time living up north. I would like to know y’all’s thoughts on tank heaters in this model. I know the bottom is enclosed but I just want to be super safe being in the cold. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum

Congrats on your new home. I think most toy haulers have tank heaters as standard items. If not, adding shouldn’t be a huge deal.

Are you picking it up or having it delivered? That’s not a light trailer.

it can get very cold in PA i’d invest in some form of rv skirting and get to know your water system completely…how to winterize if necessary.

This is not like a house…you could easily wind up like another member recently and end up with frozen sewer pipes and tanks.

you will need a heated hose, and some other things and a solid plan in advance to avoid a possibly expensive headache

it’s gonna be down in the 20s off and on in lehighton the next week

Hello and welcome!

Congrats on the new Raptor!

That is large and roomy fiver and should serve you well for full-time use.

Take care!
