range hood vent?

On our new Laredo 266RL we have a Jensen range hood - but there is no outside vent. Is this an oversight, or are they all installed that way? Thanks!

Hi wheelygoode, and welcome to the forum.

Yes, the Laredo has a recirculating fan on the range hood - no exterior vent opening needed, they say.

Our previous Keystone had the same set-up, as do some of the other manufacturers now... so apparently this is the 'new & improved' answer to (owner) problems with the exterior vent flap.

Living/camping in the U.S. desert southwest, excess moisture/steam is rarely an issue for us , but if need be, we simply open the kitchen window while cooking.

PS... our 265RL is the *no bedroom slide-out* version of your 266RL, everything else is identical.
