Using blackstone

We just got new Passport. It has outdoor 2 burner with quick connect under. We would also like to add blackstone 22”. That’s what we do a lot of cooking on. What connections do we need to share same tank/line. I did see a “v” connect but know we need more than that.

I use a quick connect “Y” and plug my 2-burner stove into one leg and my Nexgrill into the other, using an accessory hose. Everything is available on Amazon.

The key to proper operation of the Blackstone is to make sure there is no regulator in place. The gas line on the camper is already regulated at the tanks and you don’t want another regulator in the system. My Nexgrill had it’s own regulated hose from the factory so I unscrewed it, installed a quick connect male fitting and picked up a 12’ gas hose with quick connect fittings on each end.

Does your Blackstone have a regulator on it? I'm guessing it does. Then you have to check and see if you line on the campers is regulated? Again, I'm assuming it is. You can run two regulators so you would have to plum your Blackstone accordingly. We had this issue with a weber grill but found a video online to take the regulator out and only use the grill hooked into the camper.

i’d just make sure if you modify your grill by removing the regulator that you do it in a way that it can’t be accidentally hooked up to a non regulated propane supply in the future…maybe hang the regulator by a piece of wire to the grill so it isn’t misplaced…don’t want anyone turning your grill into a fireball …maybe put a warning sticker or label on the side

We solved that and other problems by purchasing a 10 lb propane tank with a 4 ft extension hose. It not only allows us the flexibility to locate our stove anywhere we choose, but also makes a good backup if I forget to fill our main tanks or run out of propane unexpectedly..

I suggested that but my husband wants both connected at once. I don’t think we will use the 2 burner that often.

We unscrewed the hose/regulator from our grill and added a QC male fitting. We have a high output regulator at the onboard tanks and can run all we need simultaneously without issue.
