Solera Supershade

Just installed a front shade on our awning. The ends of the shade hangs over about 3 inches on each side and the clear plastic piece that runs through the channel is about a 8 inch overhang on both ends. Do I cut the clear pieces off or will it all roll up in the awning?

Upon review - I see what part you are talking about rolling up.
If it's wider than your awning tube it's going to cause problems when rolling the tube up.
Will the ends of the permanent section come in contact with the arms?

To answer your first question, yes - you can trim the clear plastic lace. The only part you need is the part inside the slot of the roller tube.
However, it sounds like the screen you ordered is at least six inches too wide for your awning.
