Are the friction door hinges adjustable?
My son decided, instead of my 38' PAID FOR Park Model FR Sandpiper, I needed a "brandnew, under warranty POS 29' keystone 290QB hideout"
I an crowding 75 and getting 'frail' and this 120lb minimum force to open, close, or move door is a bit problematic.
Said 'son' has better things to do than help.
The $400 new monthly payment prevents calling a Pro.
Are they adjustable, or do I have to replace them?
Thanks
Drew

They do “wear in” after a number of times opening/closing the door. I don’t know the magic number.
They are not adjustable that I’m aware of.

Like Chuck said they do get easier the more they're used. Mine was hard to open/close when new but as time has passed it's now to the point a stiff breeze will push it around.

11 months, daily use, 12+ open/close cycles, plus whatever the dog wants with semi-regular oilings and very little improvement.
I just ordered non friction replacements fo $19 each plus shipping.
total $55 and change.

Couple drops of 3-1 oil each season keeps mine smooth. Take the little plugs out of the top and bottom hinges, on top, and oil. It’ll work it’s way down. Middle hinge is a normal hinge. Mine were so tight I could see the door flex and slamming was the only way to close it.
