SW12DEL water heater relay wiring

Good evening all!

I have a Suburban SW12DEL water heater in my new to me 2016 Raptor 425TS. The relay/coil in the junction box on the side of the water heater was melted when I purchased the trailer. Water heater works fine on gas but not on electric.

I've purchased a new relay as a starting point. Can anyone tell me what color wires go to what pins on the relay? I have a yellow wire and an orange wire coming from what I think is the water heater control board and I have black and white wires which I think are going to the little black on/off switch outside of the water heater.

Of course I have the 120v romex coming from the breaker panel as well.

Thank you very much!

Thank you. I understand the diagram, I guess my question is which connectors are the 12v connectors and which are the 120v connectors on the relay? They aren't labeled on the relay and the wiring diagram just says "relay" with no pinouts.

Here's how I believe it goes. Black colors are 120v and orange and yellow colors are 12v. I don't believe polarity matters on either side?

Do you have a multimeter? If you do check the terminals with the meter set to ohms. The relay coil will have an ohm reading and the relay contacts should read infinity. The coil is 12 vdc and the relay contacts are for the 120 vac. Which wire goes on witch terminal for it's respected voltage doesn't matter. A picture of the new relay might help.

Thank you. Make sense. Yes I have a multi meter. I think my brain is fried from working under the trailer for too long.
