Question Fort Wilderness

We are going to be camping at Fort Wilderness next weekend (Feb 17th). Anyone from this forum going to be there at the same time?

His "location" is SW Florida...don't see him putting chains on and heading to Michigan

You are correct! No chains for this truck!

Michigan would be real peaceful this time of the year and the weather hasn't been too bad. It'll be 40 today and Wilderness State Park is only 300 miles north how bad could it get

Michigan

Truly a beautiful state. We never camped there BUT vacationed in several locations 35 years ago when we lived in Canton, MI. I worked for Ford Motor Company at the time.

HOWEVER, Camp Wilderness at Disney is a tough place to beat. Our daughter and her family just vacationed there in a bungalow within the campground. Had SOOOOOOO MUCH FUN

I was VERY fortunate years ago to have spent a lot of time around Disney area. The GOLF courses are TTTTTT - RIFFFICCCC! (especially good when someone else is PAYING)

Ft Wilderness.......

.... is the "on property" campground of Walt Disney World in Florida.

You are welcome even if you don't go into the parks. Yes, it's expensive, but it is hands down the nicest campground I've EVER been in.....

Minutes before your arrival a worker takes a leaf blower and a hose, if necessary, to your PERFECTLY graded concrete pad and coils the hose......

There is much privacy and amazing scenery......

The place is spotless..... I am forever spoiled now......

This is correct, but we got to check in at 11am. If your spot is not open they have overflow parking you can sit at until your site opens.

Thanks Lee. Can you leave your rig in the overflow while in the park? What I'm asking is, should I have an extra day before and after visiting the park for tear down and setup? Was looking at reserving 5 nights in the campground and 4 day tickets. It looks like there is plenty to do in the campground for the kids on the first and last days while we are setting up and tearing down.
