bedroom slide just clicks at relay
Actually parked at or site for the next few days and went to open bedroom slide and it just clicks at the relay for all the slides. This one is cable. Nothing appears jammed, just the cables labeled in are very tight. I have no tools...like being naked in public, lol

It would help you get better answers if you shared the year and complete model number of your trailer. The best way to do that is by adding a signature.
What's the battery condition (charge) and age? Battery disconnect in the connected position? Plugged into shore power? Everything else that's 12v dc working ok like bathroom fan, lights, radio? Do you have in command or just a wall switch? Electric stabilizers and or landing gear or tongue jack working? Some of these questiones could be answered with more trailer info.

2018 cougar half ton 28 sgs, everything else works fine. Shore power makes no difference. Not sure if "in command" I do have remote for slides, lights, also wall switch. Other slides are thru frame type.

Are you trying with both the remote and a wall switch? In command would be a large display on the wall with lots of displays.

Ok. Without a multi meter it’s going to be real hard to diagnose. If your close to any Walmart or Harbor Freight you can buy one for under $10 and it’s something that should be part of your trailer inventory.
You need to know if 12V is getting to the motor as a starting point.

Better stick in than out. Can you still use the bedroom so your trip isn’t ruined.

Simple answer. Forget in-command and all of that.....
Your battery is low, or maybe dead. It's got to be charged for the slides to operate. Otherwise, you experience exactly what you experience, just clicking. The slides demand the battery. The power converter is not enough to operate them. The converter may operate light and a gas refrigerator electronics, but it will not have enough "umph" to move the slides.
Simple test to figure out if its your battery or not. Simply unplug form shore power and turn on your house lights. See how fast they go dim. If them dim immediately, you have a bad battery. Or a battery with no charge. It's just that simple!

as I stated the other two big slides work fine, and even shore power makes no difference. My money is on a fuse

If it's "clicking" it's getting power, at least to the component that's clicking. I don't know of any slide motor that uses a relay (clicking) that doesn't also have power to the motor if the relay is energized (or clicking). I'd suspect that you've got a damaged gearbox attached to the slide motor that is binding the ability of the motor to "turn the gears"...
You can, if you have the "manual flex shaft", insert it in the motor drive slot and see if the motor armateur turns. If it won't turn, I'd suspect the gearbox.
But, that said, it could also be a cable that slipped from a pulley and is caught against the pulley mechanism and is pinched, preventing anything from moving...
The "other slides operating normally" tells me it's not a "power to the trailer or battery issue". The "clicking when I push the switch" tells me there's power through the switch for the slide and something is "loading the circuit"... Find the binding, you'll probably find your problem.

Ya I tried to turn the motor with some forceps, but was unsuccessful. I do not see any cables that seem out of order. I do not have that tool and would appreciate a link to see if I can make one.

There is probably one or two in your trailer "somewhere"....
They are about 10" long and usually they are stuck in a drawer, in a cubbyhole or in the owner's packet envelop, in a plastic bag inside another plastic bag with the slide parts list or maintenance instructions....
You can order one here: https://www.camperid.com/bal/drive-s...eid=4696111380 or get one at almost any RV parts store.

Well neat idea, but cannot locate a tool anywhere, either online or at local dealers. So will go down to the shop in a couple and make one. Will be simple to do. First measurement says I need one end to be square at 0.155". I have a mill and tool steel, so should be easy if the measurement is close.....kinda difficult to get in there.

Are you on any kind of terms (hopefully good) with your dealership? They might just give you one, or at least sell it to you. Last trailer had 3 slides and it only had one in it and never had to use it. This trailer has 3 slides and had none in it when I picked it up. Went back and spoke with SM and he brought me out 3; said there should have been one for every motor. Also said they had a pile of them "in the back". I figure those are all the ones they have accumulated from putting one, or none, in an RV when there should have been 3 etc.

Call Bal/Norco who makes the Accu Slide. Here's a link to the Accu Slide material list. Go to page 7 and you will see the override tool. Call those folks and see if they can get you one. Probably be a charge but you really need to have one. I'm attaching 2 links, one to the material list and the other is the general information page that has other links you may be interested in - material list first;

Home Depot has a flex drive shaft with an APEX bit end. You'll just need to have the appropriate bit to use for your motor drive. https://www.homedepot.com/p/eazypowe...E&gclsrc=aw.ds
The "actual BAL tool" is listed here, but says "unavailable": https://www.camperid.com/bal/drive-s...eid=4696111380
Last time I was in the local RV dealership, they had 8 or 10 of them hanging on a display rack beside the cable repair kits in the "parts department"...

Heck already got one made out of some scrap which happened to have gear on one end which gives a good grip. Went out and the motor turns just fine with this tool. Came in to get multi-meter so I can proceed. It made no difference to release the tension on the cables and it was easy to turn with my fingertips.
My tool:

All fixed ???
Well, still got the clicking (wall switch and remote) after releasing tension. Then checked the fuses and all were good, went back to the motor with the multimeter, hooked it up and the slide worked immediately.
Then still worked with both remote and wall switch worked fine, I do note a slight bind in the all the way in at the very end. Not locking up at the moment.
