Cougar ac gateway issues

I have a 2021 cougar 24rds it came with a Coleman Mach 15k in the rear was prewired for a dometic brisk 2 in the front and installed the dometic install went fine but having trouble with the new gateway communicating with the new relay control the in command sees the room temp on gateway but fan or ac not turning on used 2 diff rj11 cords between the gateway and the controller I have read some posts on here about the dip switches on old unit controller and the new one but the Coleman doesn’t have them I’m sure it’s something simple but any info will be helpful thx

Maybe this iNCommand HVAC troubleshooting guide will help

https://in-command.net/wp-content/up...ng%20Guide.pdf

Each gateway has to be addressed for the zone.

Email or call ASA. They reply usually in a day.

If yo7 are using a pre made 4 wire telephone cable did you retire the end of the plug per instructions or did the install kit come with the correct cable already made..

A standard 4 wire telephone cable as wired will not work

Also when you added in the new roof AC where is the terminating resistor located at to signify EOL ( end of line ) for the CANBUS

Since the In Command is reading the temp the CANBUS line must be good but you have an issue with that gateway interface for the Coleman not being able to tell it to run the fan

One other thought is you DID remove both 120 volt and 12 volt power when installing new unit and connecting to pre existing AC wiring…?

If not you need to remove both sources of power so that the entire CANBUS can reset and FIND what’s on the CANBUS line…

See page 3 of the guide I posted for the diagram. Note “A” shows the end of line resistor. The resistor would have been in place before you added the next unit. Your canbus cable that you add would plug there and extend to your new device. You move the end of line resistor to the new box.

Photo shows what it looks like.
