Hitch Storage

I tried keeping the hitch head with the trailer at the CG once and it was a costly mistake. I don't take it off the TV until I store the trailer for the winter. I store the head and bars under a very large tote on our deck. I also use that same tote to hide my generator while it's in the bed of my truck while on the road.

WDH storage

I have the EZ-Lift WDH. I made covers for the curved ends that stay greasy out of toilet paper rolls and blue tape. I then store them in a soft shotgun case in the pass through. I keep the hitch part in a plastic container in the trailer when stored and underneath when camping. Works well for me.
