2011 Springdale Troubleshoot

Trying to assist my folks in troubleshooting a leak (now three) in their trailer.

Had a deep freeze and thaw - leak under kitchen sink - repaired. Hooked city water back up. Leak in toilet valve - repaired. Hooked city water back up. Unknown leak - it is flooding the bedroom, heavy on the left side, which is where the city water connection is.

I've shut off the water again but don't know where to start looking for the new leak. Can't find a water system diagram anywhere. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum

There aren’t any schematics. I would see if you can access the back side of the connection, you’ll probably find your leak there.

Without know which model camper you are referring to and being able to look at the floorplan, very difficult to guess where a leak may be coming from.

More Info

2011 Keystone Springdale 26'

I have attached the floor plan of the 24' model - almost identical.

The City Water connection is above the bed and between the escape window and wardrobe in the picture.

Is there a way to get my eyes to the back of the City Water connection? Do I need to remove a panel?

Was so happy to fix the first two leaks for them - now really frustrated.
Thank you for all the help

If there is a storage compartment, you might have a removable wall in it.

If not, you might also have to make the wall "removable" yourself. There are plenty of vids demonstrating how you can do that and reassemble it to make it look original, or very near original.

What does the city water connection on the outside look like? Mine is a plastic panel that is held on by a couple screws. When you pull the panel off the outside of my camper the city water inlet and water tank fill are right next to each other and they are clamped onto the panel. The city water uses a compression fitting that has a seal in it and the water tank fill uses a regular clamp. These are a likely leak spot. One goes to your water pump (not sure where it is on your camper) but will be behind a removable panel. The city water is joined to a pex pipe/hose and it heads across the camper through cabinets, etc. Mine to my rear kitchen sink and also back to the bathroom area. Each pex connection to sinks or bathroom fixtures is pretty easy to locate. I don't have any covering across the bottom of my camper and the water lines going to the rear are under and easily visible (well you have to crawl under the camper and look up).
